The annual Spring Auction is Harmony Ark’s biggest fundraiser of the year, bringing together teachers, staff, parents, and the greater Occidental community for an evening of fun and celebration.

This year, hundreds of community members will gather at the CYO Lodge in Occidental to bid on hundreds of fabulous items. They include trips and excursions, sport tickets, delectable wines, dinner parties with private chefs, meals in favorite restaurants, and the work of local artists. In addition, there will be hotly sought-after teacher donations and class projects.

The evening includes a silent auction, cocktails, appetizers, and a buffet dinner that culminates in a high-energy live auction, followed by dancing to a live band.

Last year, auction proceeds totaled $50,000 – a substantial portion of the Ark’s annual budget! Help us reach this goal again this year. To pull off an event of this magnitude, many parents are needed to volunteer for auction jobs and solicit amazing donations. It's all to support our kids, build community, and to continue funding the programs that make our schools unique and outstanding.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Spring Luncheon

Harmony Ark will host its annual Teacher and Staff Appreciation Spring Luncheon on Wednesday, May 9, 2007. We need parent volunteers to help show our appreciation to Harmony and Salmon Creek teachers and staff by providing a main dish, side dish, salad, or desert. If you would like to contribute, food items may be left in the staff lounge or school office on Wednesday morning during drop off, or any time before 11:30 a.m. Cards and drawings made by students are encouraged, too. Fairy Festival in the Garden

Celebrate the realm of the imagination and wonder! This year’s Fairy Festival, a benefit for the Garden Program that Harmony Ark supports, will be held on Saturday, May 10th. Plant Sale includes fairy favorites, habitat and drought-tolerant perennials, herbs, and heirloom vegetables. Spring Concert

Mark your calendars for the Spring Concert on Wednesday, June 6th! Come at 6:00 p.m. with a picnic supper. Concert begins at 7:00 on the field with K-4th graders singing songs, and instrumental performances from the Drum Corps, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Bands.
